The Circle of Life

This week has been a week of ups and downs, and honestly: I have no clue of my feelings. I don´t know how I feel. It just feels empty. A few days ago someone I loved very dearly passed away, a very dreaded event that left me shattered. At the same time I am in the middle of placement, which means witnessing the beginning of multiple lifes every single day. While my loved one has gone, I care for other people´s loved ones. The great contrast has me wondering time and time again about the remarkable journey that is called life. While we all enter it more or less the same way and we all leave it in the same way, there´s a dozen of years in between that is filled in so differently for every single person. During the course of a lifetime we all develop our own understanding of the world; what is important and what is not.
